IN MEMORIAM Dear colleagues, It is with great sadness that the HNRC family marks the death of one of our very much loved staff, Nancy Anderson. Nancy joined the HNRC in December 2003 working as a principal Data Entry Specialist. The exceptional quality and high volume of her work reflected her spirit of energy, optimism, and perseverance. This dedication garnered her special acknowledgements on several papers for her contributions. She was always an optimistic person and as one staff member who was very close to her said, "You couldn't stop by Nancy's office without spending at least 10 minutes with her." When Nancy was diagnosed with uterine cancer she approached her illness and its treatment with the same optimistic and energetic attitudes. Despite many courses of chemotherapies and other treatments that can often lay people low, Nancy usually came to work, indeed looked forward to being productive and in the company of her friends and colleagues. Please join me in sharing our condolences with her children, Daniel and Lindsay. The family has indicated they would be amenable to having a remembrance for Nancy at the HNRC facility. As these plans materialize, either I or one of the other HNRC staff will keep everyone informed.
